With previous releases on the likes of Nervous and Street Tracks, Melbourne's Jwalker is fast becoming a very dependable name for house thumpers. Returning to local label Refuge Recordings, he serves up another two weapons. 'Bad News' fuses juggernaut bass with classic '90s house beats, ravey stab samples and Detroit flavoured strings to make for one serious workout, while 'What U Put Me Through' takes an almost dub-style approach to its undulating low end and tense organ notes, veering towards the UKG side of things with cheeky spinbacks and sorrowful, soulful vocal samples.
