Canadian talent Sicario delivers two slabs of deep, dubby, techy tribal rhythm for Australia's burgeoning Refuge Recordings. 'Ganja Man' channels classic reggae vibes into its minimalist, heads-down groove. Taut percussion slaps against murky bass throbs and trippy vocal dubs to make for a cool and deadly moment. 'Time Trippin' heads deeper into techno territory with its shuffling groove permeated by twanging, sub-aquatic FX and feisty percussive rhythms, bugged-out spoken word samples and supremely meaty kick drums. No-nonsense grooves for focused floors.
